Stoke Damerel Community College, Plymouth are looking to appoint an organised colleague who has excellent IT Skills including word processing, excel and data base, and is an effective communicator both verbally and written.

Hours: 37 hours x 39 weeks per year

This is a new post for the specific purpose of supporting the SENco and her team within an expanding Learning Support Department.
 

You will need to
• be highly organised, efficient and thorough
• work with own initiative, energy and enthusiasm
• demonstrate reliability and integrity.

You will have relevant administration experience and have the ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise your own workload. You will need to work effectively as a team member and liaise with outside agencies coordinating meetings and paperwork.

The successful candidate will have an interest in learning and educational development. Whilst experience is desirable, applicants with good administrative skills will be supported to develop their knowledge of special educational needs as necessary.
