Bridgwater College Academy is an all-through academy for students aged 3 to 16. The academy is part of the Bridgwater & Taunton College Trust.

Part-time & Permanent

10 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (Term time plus INSET days)

Working Hours: 9:30am – 2:30pm - 2 days per week (days can be flexible and negotiated).

BTCT Points 5 to 6, starting on Point 5.  Actual salary: £4,573 per annum

The core purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and effective administration service to our happy, hardworking inclusion team.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, friendly and self-motivated person to join the team. This person will be good at communicating with different types of stakeholders and agencies. The ideal candidate must be flexible and able to multi-task.

We are looking for someone who has previous administrative experience in possibly a similar role and preferably with a minimum of NVQ3 in administration or secretarial skills. Experience of letter writing, emailing and minute taking is essential.

Bridgwater College Academy is the only all-through mainstream Academy in Somerset and opened in 2012.  Student numbers are divided equally between Primary and Secondary phases; we also have a nursery provision too. The Academy was the first sponsored Academy within the Bridgwater and Taunton College Trust, which now hosts seven Academies and is itself set to continue to expand in the future.
