Tes is supporting the appointment of an SEN Class Teacher at a Special Education School based in Cornwall.
The school are looking for experienced SEN Class Teacher to join this fantastic team due to the growth in service. As the SEN Class Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, maximising children’s achievement, and ability to develop.
The purpose of the role is to secure high quality teaching, effective use of resources and improve standards of learning and achievement for all pupils in consultation with the Head of Education/Headteacher and to teach a range of subjects as necessary to ensure the effective delivery of the school’s curriculum.
What the school are looking for:
- Have a Teaching qualifications
- Have excellent classroom practice
- Be a dedicated teacher with a experience of working with children with a wide range of special educational needs, including those with complex autism, trauma and attachment related conditions
- Have significant experience of using recognised and appropriate teaching strategies for a group of learners
- Be a team player who is able to motivate, lead and support teams of colleagues
- Have excellent communication and inter-personal skills and be able to communicate effectively with parents, carers and liaise with other professionals
- Be a professional with vision, creativity, drive and enthusiasm who will contribute to delivering 'the best education for every child'
- Be an individual who aspires for professional development and career development
