We are looking for an experienced SENCo to join our fantastic team at Belmont Secondary School in Rawtenstall. As a SENCo, you will deliver fun based learning to pupils according to their educational needs, in a way that maximises children’s achievement and ability to develop.


This is a great opportunity for a SENCo who wants to develop creative learning opportunities for children with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure, working with individual and small groups of pupils in a school where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.


When it comes to looking after our children, we never settle for second best. We are looking for a SENCo, experienced in a range of subjects which could include Food Technology, Art, Crafts, Horticulture, PE & Games and any other practical based activities that could engage and motivate students. You will work closely with our Teachers, helping deliver our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young people in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.


The ideal candidate will take on the day to day responsibility in the team to provide guidance of SEN teaching to maintain and increase the quality of teaching.  The SEN coordinator will be confident designing, planning and delivering outstanding PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education) lessons.


Already experienced in an SEN environment, you will be forward thinking, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by supporting families and helping every child to reach their potential.
