Job overview

Compass Education are recruiting qualified teachers with SEN experience to work at our established school in Folkestone, Kent.  We support up to 37 children aged 11-16 who have special needs including SEMH and ASD.  The school has the capacity for up to 37 pupils, providing an excellent secondary education and emotional support.

As a Compass Community School, Coastal Park provides full time education for children in the care system, offering support in small groups and on a 1-1 education basis.  We are looking for candidates with an understanding of SEN, who are dynamic and proactive, with strong behaviour management, having had previous experience of working with pupils with challenging behaviour or complex needs that are a barrier to learning in a mainstream school or alternative provision.

Due to the current needs of the school we are eager to find teachers with creative arts backgrounds.

You will be joining Compass Education at an exciting time; we are continually expanding our schools and increasing our student head count so plenty of room for future opportunities. Come and be part of it.

If you are a personable and ambitious SEN  Teacher then please read on below to find out further information.  We would love to meet you.
