A vacancy exists in our excellent team for an enthusiastic, committed Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to provide support for children with special needs. The post will involve working on individualised programmes for the children as well as supporting them to integrate with other children in the class. Support at playtimes and lunchtimes will also be required.
The successful candidate will be caring, flexible and be able to stay calm in all situations. The job will consist of one to one teaching assistant duties as well as some class support duties.

Salary £19,650 pro rata (£10.19 per hr)
17.5 hrs per week from as soon as possible
5 hours 50 minutes a day 3 days a week

Hornbeams is our pre-school which is located within the school building allowing children to feel part of the learning community from an early age. Hornbeams follows the Early Years Foundation Stage and makes good use of their garden and the school environment on a regular basis to encourage early learning. Hornbeams children have opportunities to join in special events with the school and benefit from a comprehensive transition period during the summer term before moving into Reception.
