Together we can encourage our pupils to step out from their comfort zones, build self-esteem and broaden their horizons. Keen to challenge young people with opportunities they may not even know exists yet? We aim to raise pupils’ aspirations so they begin to believe in themselves and understand that there is no thing holding them back, including where they happen to live or their family’s experience in education.

We are looking for SEN Learning Support Assistants to provide general assistance to pupils either in or outside the classroom. The role involves supporting the teacher and pupils both within the classroom and also outside the classroom in small group interventions such as numeracy and literacy.

  • Relevant educational experience supporting a child/children in a primary school setting
  • Experience of working with children who have a wide variety of educational needs
  • Relevant qualifications for the role (Minimum TA2 certificate or equivalent, and Maths/English GCSEs grades A-C).

The contracts on offer are full time (32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 - 15:30) and are fixed term rolling contracts until 31/08/2023 (based on pupil funding). We are looking for the successful candidates to commence employment on 13/03/2023 (pending onboarding processes are fully complete). The salary range for the role ranges from scale point 5 - 7 (£16,592.99 - £17,202.88 actual salary, £21,575 - £22,368 full time equivalent).
