SEN Literacy Support Teacher

Smart Teachers is recruiting for an experienced and qualified SEN (Special Education Needs) Literacy support teacher to join an outstanding independent school in metropolitan Melbourne, Australia. This school has strong reputation of academic excellence and all staff are committed to current pedagogical thinking. This is a full-time role, minimum 12-month contract to commence in January, 2017.

About You:

In order to be considered for this role you will need to meet the following criteria;

• Possess the minimum relevant tertiary qualifications– Bachelor of Education/ PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
• Be eligible to work in Australia (see if you qualify for a visa here)
• Be able to provide a minimum of three professional references
• Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teachers
• Be willing to contribute to co-curricular life and the school community
