Smart Teachers are recruiting for a Maths teacher to work in an Ofsted awarded ‘Outstanding’ SEN Secondary school located in Islington (N5). The start date for the role is September 2017 and will initially be contracted for the duration of the academic year. This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and NQTs, so all applicants are encouraged to apply.
The school requires a dynamic Maths teacher who is confident in planning, delivering and assessing the curriculum (KS3/4) at Entry level, Functional Skills Level 1/2 and GCSE. You would need to have some previous experience in teaching pupils with moderate learning difficulties and thrive in this type of school.
Initially, you would be offered a fixed term contract for the 2017/18 academic year with the potential for a permanent contract. For the right applicant there is an opportunity for a TLR and you would receive a competitive salary in line with the MPS.
