Job overview
ABC teachers are currently recruiting TA’s with SEN experience in the Warwick area. The successful candidates will ideally have experience dealing with pupils with ASD. They will have the ability to quickly build rapport with pupils and to offer them the guidance and support required in order to be successful.
The successful candidate will:
- hold relevant teaching assistant qualifications (NVQ Level 3)
- Promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflicts in line with school behaviour policies
- Supervise and provide particular support for pupils, including those with special needs, ensuring their access to learning resources
· Undertake structured and agreed learning activities / programmes, being aware of pupil learning styles. Adjust activities according to pupil responses / needs
Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
