Job overview

The Role

The post requires you to teach pupils in the age range of the care home to which the school is attached.  Your timetable should take account of the needs and interests of the young people, the requirements of the National Curriculum and the current needs of the school.  

• Ensure that ICT, Literacy and Numeracy are reflected in the teaching/learning experience of pupils

• Ensure a high-quality learning experience for pupils which meet internal and external quality standards


The School

The school is attached to a care home catering for 11-18 year olds. They make a difference to the lives of the young people and supported adults they look after and educate every day, in order to create more positive futures. Their commitment to ethical, high quality services and positive outcomes means the school provide successful, stable placements. The dedicated teams who run the homes are supported by a vastly experienced regional management group. Together, they genuinely care about making a difference.


Requirements

• QTS

• Good Degree in relevant subject

• Experience teaching at KS3 and KS4
