ABC Teachers part of TES are currently looking to recruit an experienced Teacher for a Special Educational Needs school located in the Great Barr area. This will be a part time role starting in September and be on an ongoing basis, working with children between the ages of 3 and 11.
This school caters for pupils with various special needs, these mainly being ASD, Moderate Learning difficulties and Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues; due to this we ask that the ideal candidate has experience within a similar area.
This is a great opportunity to be creative with your teaching in order to convey the curriculum in an engaging and exciting way. You will be supported by Teaching Assistants and other staff members in a positive and friendly environment.
The Ideal candidate –
• Will have QTS
• Highly creative and engaging in a classroom setting
• Knowledge within the education sector and SEN environment
• Passion for supporting the learning of children
• In date DBS & on the Update Service
Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
