ABC Teachers are currently seeking an experienced Teacher for a full-time role within a well-stablished SEND school in Lichfield.


About the role:

  • You will be responsible for delivering the curriculum in an engaging way to small class sizes.
  • Creating a positive and stimulating environment for the young people, encouraging them to achieve their full potential.
  • Working effectively alongside support staff and a multidisciplinary team
  • This will be a full time, ongoing role starting as soon as possible

About the School:

  • A friendly SEND School based in Lichfield, that caters for secondary age pupils with Education and Health Care Plans,
  • Learning needs vary from moderate to more severe, including ASC and complex needs.
  • A positive environment to work in, with a forward-thinking leadership team who do all they can to support their students.  

Who we're looking for:

  • Experienced teacher who is creative with their teaching methods, and who can create a calm and positive learning environment
  • The ability to adapt to difference teaching methods to suit pupils with all abilities and a good knowledge of the curriculum.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with an SEN secondary or primary classroom or nursery setting (within the last 5 years) that we can gain references for.
