SEN Hub teacher

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to teach within our SEN Hub at Lacon Childe School.  

The Hub is a recent addition to the school and provides pupils who have struggled in mainstream settings with the opportunity to build confidence, access a broad and balanced curriculum and achieve their potential. As the number of students in the Hub is increasing, we are seeking to appoint an excellent practitioner. While the students are secondary age, you will be able to demonstrate good primary practice knowledge and be able to facilitate the ongoing provision and development of Hub pupils in a range of learning and development programmes. A broad subject knowledge and experience of working with pupils with SEND is essential; we encourage applications from creative thinkers, team players and people who relate well to challenging students while having a student-centred approach to apply.  

This is a great opportunity to join a relatively new team and have a significant impact on the development of the Hub and the lives of the students who access it.  

Applicants must be outstanding and motivated and able to demonstrate a commitment, initiative and a can-do approach.  They must be willing to make a contribution to the full life of the school and to ensure that all our students achieve the best possible outcomes.
