We are seeking to appoint an experienced teacher with a proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning for children aged 3-11 years, who have a range of special educational needs. Role Purpose

Candidates will possess the ability to share their practice, work with a positive and optimistic outlook and drive forward improvements.  We welcome applications from experienced/Newly Qualified Teachers who have experience in SEN or mainstream schools who have the capacity to develop their skills quickly.    The successful candidate will be a team player who will work well with school leaders, teachers and teaching assistants to develop the highest standard of pedagogy within the classroom.

o have experience of teaching pupils with special educational needs and disabilities,

o have a proven track record of outstanding teaching with evidence of impact,

o have the skills to lead a team in the classroom,

o have the ability to think critically, creatively and be decisive,

o be enthusiastic, evaluative, reflective and inspirational, with the ability to motivate others to take on new challenges that will enhance the learning opportunities that we offer

o have excellent communication skills

o have an interest in teaching a range of subjects as the timetable requires

o be able to contribute fully to the life of the school

About us

Prospect House is a new free special primary school, that has opened temporarily on the Grange School site. Children are offered an innovative curriculum, and will move to a purpose built new building. The temporary  school is sited in Higher Blackley.
