Job overview

Following the admission of new students next term, we require experienced SEN teachers to join as an additional member of the team at this Large SEN School in Stockport. The needs of this school range from severe ASC, PMLD, little or no communication and multi sensory learners.  

You will teach students who are severely Autistic and require 1:1 support, as well as working in small groups when required. 

Experience working with children or young people on the autistic spectrum or experience and knowledge of supporting children with little/no communication is desirable, as well as relevant teaching qualifications are required.

This temporary vacancy is likely to become permanent and we require a staff member who are available full time and able to provide consistency and stability from January 2018 looking for a permanent role.

If the school decide to take you on as a permanent member of staff then you will receive full training to work within this remit. 

Working hours are 8.10- 4.00pm daily with some flexibility.
