Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a SEN teacher, experience with children with complex needs is desirable for a residential school with complex needs in Lancashire.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate characteristics of high quality teaching and implement strategies for improving and sustaining high standards of teaching and learning as well as delivering whole school improvements. You must also have a sound understanding of the relevant qualifications and GSCE delivery of children with special needs.
The TLR would be within the Pastoral remit so promoting the progress and whole well-being of individual children is essential whilst providing guidance and advice to pupil educationally and socially. This will include making records and writing reports on the personal and social needs of children.
The residential school in Lancashire currently has a small cohort of children across Primary, Secondary and FE but are looking to expand in the new academic year. The pupils within the school have an array of complex needs including ASC, sensory impairments, learning difficulties and social and emotional difficulties.
