We are currently looking to recruit an outstanding Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join a school located in Yardley. This school caters for students with MLD, SLD and ASD, who are 3 to 11 years of age. This school is an extremely friendly and supportive environment, ensuring that there is a high number of Teaching Assistants with small class sizes.
We are ideally looking to recruit a confident individual who can make a real difference to young people’s lives. This role will begin in January and end in July 2018, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with Special Educational Needs. You will be expected to work 1 to 1 and with small groups of students, supporting the class teacher throughout the day.
The ideal candidate –
· Level 2 or 3 TA qualification
· Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)
· Build rapport with the children
· In date DBS & on the Update Service
Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
