ABC Teachers are currently looking to recruit an outstanding Teaching Assistant to join a school located in Birmingham. This school caters for students with ASC who are 11 to 19 years of age. This is a newly refurbished school with outstanding facilities.
You will be working with sometimes challenging students; we are ideally looking for someone that is comfortable to work within these environments. This role will begin as soon as possible and end in July, and is on a part time basis. If you are looking for a supportive school that will allow you to gain valuable experience then this is the role for you.
The ideal candidate –
· Level 2 TA qualification
· Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)
· Build rapport with the children
· In date DBS & on the Update Service
Requirements

All staff must hold an enhanced DBS disclosure which must also be registered to the Update Service (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you), need to provide professional or academic references and attend a face to face interview. A prohibition from teaching check will be completed for all applicants.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
