We are currently looking to recruit an outstanding Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join a Secondary school located in Coventry. This school caters for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties who are 11 to 19 years of age. This is an extremely supportive and friendly school that looks to develop its students in all aspects. 

You will be expected to work with challenging students who often display sometimes challenging behaviour. If you are experienced in supporting students within an SEN environment then we would like to hear from you. You will work with students on a 1:1 basis and with small groups of students; you will be expected to support the class teacher on a daily basis. 

The ideal candidate –

·         Level 3 TA qualification

·         Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)

· Build rapport with the children

· In date DBS & on the Update Service 

Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
