Sheringdale is looking for an enthusiastic and commited Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 in class support for a nursery child with specific additional learning needs for visual impairment, mobility, speech and language and attention.

Sheringdale is a caring, community school at the heart of leafy Southfields with great transport links.

We need a SEN TA for Nursery who:

  • Can provide 1:1 learning and care support
  • Is willing to learn about Special needs or has experience
  • Wants to join a welcoming, dedicated and motivated team 
  • Can achieve high standards of teaching, learning and play 
  • Can provide care and nurture for young children 
  • Seeks to further develop their skills

About Sheringdale Primary School

Sheringdale, a community state school, is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational primary situated in Southfields, south-west London. The school will provide 352 places for pupils aged 3-11 when fully subscribed.

The school sees itself as being at the heart of the local community, and actively encourages the participation of its governors, each of whom has been linked to a different subject area. Sheringdale has recently completed some building work, with the new classrooms and extra outdoor space benefiting the younger students in particular.

Sheringdale encourages children to be outdoor learners as well as keen academic performers. Extracurricular activities take place every day of the week, and include music clubs for pupils learning piano or recorder, as well as netball and cricket/multi-sports clubs.
