We have an exciting opportunity for a SEN Teaching Assistant to come and work at the school on a full time basis for the remainder of the academic year. Within this role, you will have the chance to work both on a one-to-one basis with students with special educational needs and disabilities and also within whole classes. This is an ideal role for a graduate who is considering training to become a teacher but would like to gain some more school experience before making that application to train. We warmly welcome applicants who also already have school experience and successful applicants will hold a qualification in English and mathematics to at least Grade A-C GCSE, NVQ 3 or equivalent.

Brockworth Primary Academy is a growing academy which serves the community of Brockworth in Gloucester.  At Brockworth Primary Academy we have created a happy, secure and caring environment, a place children will enjoy coming to, where everyone within our academy and local community are valued. Our Curriculum

The curriculum in the academy falls into three phases known as The Foundation Stage which covers a child’s first year in the academy in the reception class; Key Stage 1 which covers children in academy years one and two and Key Stage 2 which covers the junior years in school, years three to six.  More information about our curriculum can be found here.
