ABC Teachers are currently seeking to recruit an outstanding Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join a school located in Royal Leamington Spa. This school caters for students with ASD, MLD and SLD who are 3 to 11 years of age and will be on a full time basis.
The role will begin as soon as possible, and be on an ongoing basis. You will be assisting the class teacher in a variety of areas alongside a supporting team of staff. We are looking for an individual confident in their ability to work with children with a range of learning difficulties, and can provide 1:1 support to students.
The ideal candidate –
· Level 2 TA qualification
· Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)
· Build rapport with the children
· In date DBS & on the Update Service
· Be eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa is applicable)
· Have previous experience within an SEN setting
Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
