Job overview

We are currently looking to recruit an outstanding Teaching Assistant for a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant for a school located in Tile Cross. This school caters for students with MLD, SLD and ASD who are 3 to 11 years of age. We are looking to develop this school and ensure that high standards are maintained throughout. 

This role will begin as soon as possible and will be an ongoing, part time basis. We are ideally looking for someone that has previous experience of working with SEN students and is confident in their ability to work within sometimes challenging but highly rewarding environments. 

The ideal candidate –

·         Level 2 TA qualification

·         Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)

· Build rapport with the children

· In date DBS & on the Update Service     

Requirements

All staff must hold an enhanced DBS disclosure which must also be registered to the Update Service (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you), need to provide professional or academic references and attend a face to face interview. A prohibition from teaching check will be completed for all applicants.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent, referenceable school based experience within an SEN setting (within the last 5 years).
