ABC teachers are currently looking to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of an excellent Special Educational Needs school we work alongside in Shrewsbury.
You will be working to support students between the ages of 3-19 years old who have a variety of needs, ranging to Moderate to more complex and severe learning difficulties.
The appointed candidate will be involved with preparing the classroom and assisting the Teacher, working 1:1 and in small groups with pupils. This role will begin in March 2021 and will be on a full time, long term basis.
We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who has previous experience supporting pupils or individuals with Special Educational Needs, with a calm and caring nature. The ideal candidate will be able to build a rapport with both students and staff, and able to understand the individual needs of the pupils, as well as demonstrating strong communication skills.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent, referenceable school based experience within an SEN setting (within the last 5 years).
