ABC Teachers are currently looking to recruit an outstanding Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant for a school located in Solihull. This Primary school caters for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties; you will be expected to have strong behavioural management skills. This school is a well equipped and dynamic school that caters for the needs of all students within its care.
We are ideally looking for a passionate individual who has previous experience of working within a Special Educational Needs environment. This role will begin as soon as possible and end in July 2018, you will be expected to work on a 1:1 basis and with small groups of children. You will be expected to work with students who display sometimes challenging behaviour; you must be a confident individual who can communicate well in challenging situation.
The ideal candidate –
· Level 3 TA qualification
· Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)
· Build rapport with the children
· In date DBS & on the Update Service
Candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview to register; we will need to gain two references either academic or professional and hold an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure (or be prepared to allow us to process one for you).
