Are you experienced within a Special Educational Needs environment? 


We are currently looking to recruit an outstanding Teaching Assistant to join an SEN school located in the Telford area. This school caters for students with ASD, MLD and complex needs who are 3 to 11 years of age. This is a friendly school that ensures all students receive the support and education in which they require. 


A role beginning as soon as possible and will be on an ongoing basis; which will require working with students on a 1:1 basis and with small groups in a school with outstanding facilities. We are ideally looking for someone that is confident in their ability to work with SEN Students with great communication skills. 


The ideal candidate –

·       Level 2 TA qualification

·       Deliver quality assistance to teacher(s) and pupil(s)

· Build rapport with the children

· In date DBS & on the Update Service     

· Be eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa if applicable)

· Previous experience in an SEN environment.


What to do next:

To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child and Adult Workforce; you will need to pay for this upfront.  At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you. 

We will need to gain references to cover the last 2 years, and a minimum of 2 references must be a school based. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
