ABC Teachers are currently looking to recruit a confident and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a full time, long term position at an SEND School we work closely with in Walsall.
The Role:
- Supporting the class teacher with effective running of the classroom, assisting with learning activities and monitoring pupil’s progress.
- Following learning programmes in place and adapting to children’s individual needs, creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Full time , long term role, where you will be working with students on a 1:1 and small group basis

- Specialist provision in Walsall that caters for young people aged 11 to 19 who have various SEND and complex needs.
- Child focused and supportive learning environment, with brilliant facilities.
- Progressive and passionate staff and leadership team who want the best for their young learners.
About You:
- Committed and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant who can quickly build a rapport with students
- Confident in their ability to adapt have strong communication skills
- Have a DBS on the Update Service or willing to complete a new one via ABC Teachers
- Able to provide reference details for the last 2 years.
