Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply teaching support team and to work in a local primary school in Seaham. 

This will be a full time, SEN Teaching Assistant role commencing in January 2019.     

A small Primary School requires an exceptional teaching assistant to work within their excellent Nursery providing support for a child with special needs. The successful candidate will support a nursery aged child who has been identified as requiring 1:1 support to address their significant needs. 

This is a very inclusive school, they have dedicated professional staff and a strong Governing body. Their children are well behaved and engage fully in school life. They have great relationships with parents, carers and the village’s wider local community. Their school is bright, happy and vibrant and a wonderful environment to learn and work in.      

The post on offer is 4 mornings a week 8:45 to 12 midday equivalent to 0.4.     

To be considered for the position of SEN Teaching Assistant you must:    

•             Have experience supporting children in primary education in SEN  

•             Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification   

•             Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Primary School Staff
