Smart Teachers is looking to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistants / SEN TA / Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant to join an “Outstanding” SEN school based in Brent. The school caters to students aged 11-19 years old with a wide range of needs including Autism, MLD and SLD. Starting immediately this is a full time ongoing role.

• Working alongside the DT teacher based in the Design and Technology department
• Previous experience of working with children with autism, moderate learning difficulties and severe learning difficulties essential

• Located in a very green part of Brent, in between two parks and situated close to West Hendon and Dollis Hill
In order to be considered for this role the SEN Teaching Assistants / SEN TA / Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant will need to meet the following criteria:
• Have recent and relevant classroom based experience in the UK (minimum 6 weeks in the last two years essential)
• Have excellent communication, literacy and numeracy skills
• Previous experience working with SEN students (essential)
• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
