Smart Teachers is recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants / Teaching Assistants to work in schools across the London borough of Brent. Smart Teachers require SEN Teaching Assistants / Teaching Assistants on a daily, short and long-term basis. Rates are dependent on the role and level of experience but range from £70-85 per day. Smart Teachers require SEN Teaching Assistants / Teaching Assistants for a range of roles including supporting children with SEN on a 1:1 basis and Early Years Teaching Assistants. Smart Teachers work with a range of schools including mainstream primary schools, independent schools, private nurseries and SEN schools.  Previous experience working with SEN and/ or a Level 3 qualifications are desirable, but not essential.

In order to be considered for this role, the SEN Teaching Assistants / Teaching Assistants will need to meet the following criteria:

• Proven experience supporting the UK or equivalent curriculum within the past two years

• Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
