Moulsham High School’s vision is to become an outstanding school with outcomes for students significantly above national averages. The ‘Real School’ guide places it in the top 7% of all schools nationally.

· Are you an outstanding teacher who can engage students of all abilities and share this good practice with others?

· Are you strongly committed to equality of opportunity with a proven track record in ensuring all children succeed both academically and socially?

· Have you experience of successfully leading initiatives in your current role that have had an impact on students’ progress?

Our SENCO position is an exciting opportunity for a strong leader with some experience of holding a responsibility within his/her current role. This is a major role within the school and will provide the successful candidate with a superb platform for promotion to senior leadership.

The person appointed must have QTS and will have a commitment to continuing professional development. He/She will be required to teach 0.4 of a timetable. There will also be exciting opportunities to work collaboratively with other schools within the Bridge Academy Trust.

The Student Support department consists of a Deputy Student Support Manager, 2 Higher Level Teaching Assistants and 15 Learning Support Assistants who are committed to high achievement for all.

GCSE results for all students including students with SEND have been above the national figure in most subjects over the past three years.

Moulsham High School has a close working relationship with an on-site early year’s childcare provider. This enables staff working at the school to receive a discount if full day nursery or wrap around care is required.
