We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, committed SENCo to lead the provision of SEN throughout our school.
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Salary: £26,139 - £36,544 per annum inclusive of Outer London Weighting MPR; Additional Allowance: £2,085 - £4,116 SEN; UPR would be considered depending on experience
Location: Harlington, Middlesex
Start Date: As soon as possible
As a primarily non-teaching member of staff you will lead all aspects of our SEN work supported by a cohesive and proactive team of support staff. You will ensure that our school continues to meet the challenge of the wide ranging needs of all our students, building upon high quality existing provision.
The successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate a sound understanding and articulate a clear vision of SEN, building upon current successes
- Be committed to raising standards, expectations and achievement
- Have relevant experience that would prepare you to assume or to continue the role of an effective SENCo
- Hold or be pursuing qualifications relevant to the post
- Assume the role of lead professional within the school for developing further the effectiveness of our multi-agency partnerships
- Be ambitious, both for yourself and for our pupils
- Demonstrate the ability as SENCo to motivate and inspire colleagues to ensure the most positive outcomes for learners of all abilities
