We are looking for an ambitious and creative SENCO to lead our dedicated SEN Team. An effective teacher, you’ll have the potential and desire to develop your leadership skills within a supportive and well-resourced Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference and to continue our journey of success. 

If successful, you will access our ‘Step into Leadership’ package, which includes training and development opportunities, as well as relocation costs of up to £1,500, to ensure that you are developed and ready to take on the challenge. 

Robert Barclay Academy is an 11-18 mixed comprehensive with approximately 700 students, including 110 in the Sixth Form. Staff are committed to providing a stimulating curriculum for all students as well as a large number of extracurricular activities. We offer an excellent support and professional development programme for all staff.

We have recently joined Scholars’ Education Trust (formerly Sir John Lawes Academies Trust) which aims to ensure that expertise in teaching and learning is shared and support systems are centralised, to enable its academies to achieve maximum efficiency.

Although Robert Barclay Academy retains its own identity, you will know you are a part of Scholars’ Education Trust and that the values and priorities of everyone you meet will be the same - to ensure our students achieve more than they ever believed possible.
