An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented learning support professional to join Merchant Taylors’ Schools at an exciting time in its history.
In 2020, Merchant Taylors’ will celebrate 400 years in delivering outstanding educational provision, and Merchant Taylors’ Senior Girls School is looking to continue in this tradition by appointing an exceptional SENCO/SEND Coordinator.
You will be responsible for creating and implementing a shared strategic vision for learning support for the School, and then develop and embed your teaching and learning strategies – watching children flourish as they take shape.
As a credible, skilled and knowledgeable professional, you’ll inspire other colleagues to develop their own expertise in supporting pupils with special educational needs and disability. You’ll be clear and focused in your role – understanding how you’re able to influence the whole teaching and learning policy to promote aspects of inclusive teaching, as well as developing effective ways of bridging all barriers to learning.
You’ll need to be resilient and know how to get results, working alongside colleagues, pupils and parents to ensure every pupil’s needs are met. If you’re a strategic thinker with a practical approach, capable of making a difference where it matters most, then we’d love to hear from you.
