    (Part-time/full-time) SENCo sought for September 2017 to join one of the most successful turnaround schools in London. 

Most schools judged ‘Requiring Improvement’ by Ofsted struggle to make sufficient progress within the first six months following an inspection. 

We invite applicants to read our HMI report – November 2016 and note 

the exceptional progress and trajectory of Camelot School, SE15.

  The school currently has a vacancy for: 


  • EXCEPTIONAL Special Education Needs Coordinator SENCo (both full time and part time applicants are invited to apply). TLRs available for an experienced      candidate with leadership aspirations. 
  • In addition, the school will consider      applications from qualified teacher candidates looking can their SENCo      qualification/accreditation, which the school will support in terms of funding.
  • MPS/UPS permanent position

     

The successful candidate can also be paid from July 2017 if not otherwise contracted and are entitled to an additional month’s salary to support any relocation costs. About Bird In Bush School

Located in The London Borough of Southwark, Bird in Bush School is a primary school for children aged 3-11. With around 500 pupils, it is significantly larger than the average school of its type. Bird In Bush Primary has a large and extremely diverse catchment area both culturally and economically, a fact reflected in its student intake. The school runs numerous additional activities and provision for students, including a breakfast club. The school received additional funding in order to run its PE and sports programmes.
