Smart Teachers is recruiting for a SENCO / Special Educational Needs Coordinator to join a ‘Good’ one form entry primary school in Pimlico (SW1V 3AG). This fixed term, temporary maternity cover will be contracted for a year and will begin in April 2019. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning interventions and assessing children’s needs with a small element of PPA cover involved. The school offers excellent in-house CPD and the opportunity to join a close-knit team who strive for success. Candidates with both full-time and part-time (minimum of 3 days) availability will be considered and candidates are required to hold a relevant SENCO qualification.

In order to be considered for this role, the SENCO / Special Educational Needs Coordinator will need to meet the following criteria:

• SENCO / Special Educational Needs Coordinator Qualification required

• Have strong communication, literacy and numeracy skills

• Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

• Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
