Denton Community College are looking to recruit a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and inspirational Special Educational Needs Coordinator.  The successful candidate will be someone who believes, as we do, that our students will thrive when given the right support to access our broad and aspirational curriculum. This is a key middle leadership role with responsibility for ensuring that our Inclusion team continues to develop and grow.

The ideal candidate will:

About Denton Community College

Located in the town of Denton, Greater Manchester, Denton Community College is a co-educational secondary school with places for around 1,350 pupils aged 11-16. It was founded in 2010 after the merger of two local schools, Egerton Park Arts College and Two Trees Sports College.

In 2012, having previously been spread across two sites, the school opened a brand-new purpose-built site.

We see it as a privilege to be entrusted with the education of young people and understand that every child is different. As an inclusive centre for learning, we never lose sight of this and are adaptable, flexible and creative with our provision.
