Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are experience of supporting children in primary and SEND setting and ideally hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent, but not essential.

Vision for Education is looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant / LSA / Teaching Assistant / TA to join our successful supply team and work in a local primary school in South Gloucester. 

This is a long-term Learning Support Assistant / LSA / Teaching Assistant / TA role which will commence as soon as possible until July 2022. This position will be part-time, Afternoon only 12:30 – 15:30, 4 days a week. 

The role

Working as part of a dynamic and effective team, the successful Learning Support Assistant / LSA / Teaching Assistant / TA will focus on delivering support to a KS2 / Key stage Two pupil on a 121 basis. The successful applicant will be expected to be deliver tailored support with the support and guidance of the Class Teacher.

This school, a large. Ofsted ‘Good’ Primary setting in South Gloucester, has a wonderful reputation and is highly subscribed locally. Within easy commuting distance of Bristol, car parking facilities, and access to public transport the school is ideally situated.  

Requirements

To be considered for the Learning Support Assistant / LSA / Teaching Assistant / TA position, you will:

• Ideally hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent, but not essential

• Ideally have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in Primary Settings

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff
