Assistant SENDCo

We are seeking an experienced and committed SEND specialist to support our wonderful students. The role will be varied and fast paced; you will have the pleasure of working across the full age range, with students of varying need.

You will be ably supported by our experienced SENDCo; a robust induction will be provided. A working knowledge of RWI phonics will be an advantage, but not essential. You will be warmly welcomed by our friendly team of teachers, who know their pupils well.

As a Sikh faith school, we are passionate about the spiritual development of our students, not just academic excellence - you do not have to be Sikh to work at Seva, in fact, we welcome colleagues of all faiths and none. You do, however, have to commit to our foundations of Selfless Service, Excellence, Virtues and Aspiration. Additionally, the right person for this role will be passionate about helping youngsters realise their potential and be prepared to go "the extra mile" for each and every one of them.

This role would be ideal for candidates studying for the SENDCo qualification; progression to school SENDCo is a possibility in our rapidly growing school in the near future, when we will need one SENDCo for primary and another for secondary.
