We are seeking a confident and considerate individual to join our Academic Support and Student Welfare department. As SEND Support Assistant, you will provide academic support to individual and small groups of SEND students in order to enable them to achieve their full academic potential and to facilitate successful completion of their courses. You will have responsibility for overseeing the progress and achievement of a caseload of students with SEND needs. 

As our ideal candidate, you will be a team-player with previous administrative experience and good organisational skills, and most importantly, you will have the ability to motivate and inspire young people to achieve their maximum potential. If you possess excellent inter-personal skills and have previous learning support experience working in the 14 – 19 sector, post-16 or SEND students, then this role will be ideal for you.

This is a fixed-term post until 31st August 2022. Actual annual starting salary will be £9,227 p/a.
