We are seeking to appoint an SEND Support Worker, (whose responsibilities will include one to one health care), to start as soon as possible. We are looking for someone who is both caring and understanding and can provide quality care and support to a pupil with specific medical needs. The post holder will provide support to the young person with their healthcare needs, which includes enteral feeding, stoma care and nasopharyngeal tube and suctioning. The post holder will also support inclusion of the pupil in the classroom. For full details please see the job description and person specification. Experience of working with young people with personal care needs is essential and an NVQ II qualification in Health and Social Care is desirable.
