An alternative provision located in Sheffield is actively seeking to appoint a SEND Teacher from September 2018 who ideally has experience within a similar setting. This excellent opportunity would be ideal for an experienced Primary Teacher or equally a strong, confident NQT.
The ideal Teacher will:
•Be flexible, open minded and a good team player
•Have excellent classroom management skills
•Have the ability to adapt classes to learners individual needs
•Be committed to raising standards within the special needs sector
Your role will see you teaching small classes across KS1 and KS2 where you will also have a number of teaching assistants for support. This role can be extremely challenging but highly rewarding engaging with vulnerable young people, families and other agencies to help them develop and achieve.
As the successful Teacher you must hold QTS along with a valid teaching qualification. Also, having a Team Teach qualification would be an advantage.
