This post involves supporting a child in Year 5 with SEND on a 1:1 basis.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed practitioner who has experience of working with SEND children, is full of energy and has some understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
The pupil has social, emotional and mental health difficulties and so some experience supporting a child with these needs would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be committed to providing the highest quality of education and support for the pupil in their care, and be able to work well as part of a team alongside the class teacher, parents and other outside agencies.
This position requires a qualification to level 3 (or a commitment towards gaining this qualification) in a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification.
The above position is a temporary post which is attached to the child’s EHC Funding and will remain in place as long as the school receives funding or until the pupil’s departure from the Trust if earlier. It will be reviewed before the end of the academic year.
