SEND Teaching Assistant

The school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic member of staff to inspire students with additional needs and to ensure that all students with additional needs both academic and medical are supports in and outside the classroom. 

A £13 million new school building was completed and opened in September 2020 resulting in an outstanding learning environment offering state of the art facilities. There are floodlit, LTA standard, tennis courts and sports facilities that are second to none. Located in the heart of the historic town of Bishop Auckland situated 12 miles northwest of Darlington and 12 miles southwest of Durham City, Bishop Barrington Academy is easily accessible via road or public transport networks.
