SEND Teaching Assistant

SEND Teaching Assistant Grade: 5 Salary: £18,602 pa Hours:          32.5 hours (8.30 – 4.00) per week.  You will be required to work 39 weeks per year during term time. ________________________________________________________________________Grange Primary School in South Ealing is looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated Teaching Assistant to support a 4-year-old boy entering Reception in September.  This is a job where you can make a real difference supporting a child with speech and language delay and communication difficulties. He is very affectionate and friendly and a real joy to be around. His other main areas of difficulty also include social skills, attention listening and peer interaction.  The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, calm, caring and professional with attention to detail. A desire to further the child’s learning opportunities and independence is essential as is an understanding of the difficulties experienced by children with Autism. Speech is developing rapidly so you will need to generate and support times for language promotion throughout the day.  Grange is a four-form entry school and our EYFS is in a new purpose-built building with excellent resources. Each class has a Nursery Nurse. We are a mix of many nations and our children are a delight.
