The role

Coopers Lane Primary School is a diverse inner city school with a strong commitment to inclusive practice and an excellent reputation for teaching and learning. We are looking to appoint an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team of dedicated and resourceful staff at Coopers Lane School.

The successful candidate will be required to provide daily support for a child with Special Educational Needs in groups or 1:1, working closely with staff to maintain and improve the social, emotional, behavioural and learning needs for this pupil. As a confident and experienced Teaching Assistant Supporting, you will be able to tailor your approach to suit this child’s specific needs.

This post is for 25 hours a week, term time only (38 weeks a year) on a fixed term contract until the end of the academic year. The contract may be extended beyond this date at the discretion of the school depending on SEN funding.

Salary details

Scale 3 Spine point 15-17

£12,231.87 - Actual salary for 25 Hours a week 5 Hours a day
