Job overview
We need amazing Teaching Assistants in our Independent Special School for students with SEMH/ASD/ADHD to:
- provide the students with an effective role model and instil firm, fair and consistent behaviour boundaries – in line with school policies
- guide and help students to make positive learning, lifestyle, moral and health choices.
- be the champion for a key group of pupils in accordance with the school’s tutor and behaviour policies
- support the welfare and well-being of those with social, emotional, mental health and physical disabilities
You will work as part of a small, friendly team of Teaching Assistants to ensure all students are effectively supported and engaged in their learning.
Experience of delivering ELSA is desirable, but not essential, as full training can be given
