ABC Teachers are currently recruiting on behalf of a SEN nursery based in Leicester, for a SEND Teaching Assistant. This role involves working with children with special educational needs, starting in January 2022. You must have a keen interest to work with students with a range of needs.
About the role:
• Long term, full time role working as an SEND Teaching Assistant
• Working in a special educational need’s nursery with student with a variety of needs such as autism, moderate to severe learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and social and emotional mental health needs.
• Work with supportive teams and develop your skills and experience supporting young people.
About you:
• We must be able to reference work you have done in the past 2 years, which needs to include either working with children or with vulnerable adults in a care/support role
• Be passionate about working with young people and supporting their learning.
• Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students.
• Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
