SEND Teaching Assistants

Vision for Education are looking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant to work within a primary school in Sheffield. This role is long term and starts as soon as possible.
To work 1-1 and with small groups providing support to the teacher working with students with ASD and MLD
The school / setting
This is a large school who are looking for a committed and successful practitioner to join their motivated team. The school has recently been inspected by Ofsted, in which they received an ‘Good’ Grading. The community is highly supportive of the school, and parental involvement in the school is high.
To be considered for the position of SEND Teaching Assistant you will:
• Hold a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare.
• Have experience supporting children with SEND, working 1:1 giving support or in small classroom groups.
• Have excellent communication skills, be fun and encouraging!
• Be creative and be able to think ‘out of the box’
• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team, have a passion to help, be caring, considerate and have a confident nature.
